In its attempt to establish itself more with the small and medium business (SMB) community, popular antivirus software firm AVG Technologies is attempting to establish itself more with the small and medium business community by introducing AVG Internet Security 2011 Business Edition, and AVG Antivirus 2011 Business Edition.

The anti-virus software Company, AVG has announced that it has upgraded the anti-virus software to cater to the needs of small enterprises. The new upgrade would provide the software to promise an increased protection against the web and social networking.

AVG has come up with a Linux-based boot utility called AVG Rescue CD which is capable of integrating the AVG Anti-Virus and Internet Security software. It can be downloaded for free and can easily be stored in a CD or DVD and can also be put in a USB drive.

According to a last week blog post by antivirus and Internet security firm AVG Technologies, hackers have worked out a way to create computer-generated fraudulent Facebook profiles, which they are using to dupe credulous users into installing spyware.

Amsterdam-based AVG Technologies, an antivirus and Internet security company, Tuesday announced its acquisition of Sana Security, the maker of identity fraud prevention software.
