Bain Capital Offers an Unsolicited Bid of 425p-450p a Share for Micro Focus

As per reports, Bain Capital has earlier acquired SkillSoft, an Irish provider of e-learning software, for $1.2bn and is now showing interest in debt laden Micro Focus, which updates ageing computer systems and tests software.
KKR and Bain Reportedly All set for Fresh IPOs

The Dutch semiconductor firm NXP, which was spun off from Philips Electronics in 2006, is all set with its plans to raise over $1 Billion through an IPO.

The deal will cost Bain $1 Billion, or 95.3 Billion Yen, and Citi's complete stake will be transferred to the financial firm's ownership.
Gome to raise nearly $447 million from Bain Capital and other investors

Along with the proposed Bain Capital investment, Gome intends raising a total of $447 million, with contributions from other investors.
