AT&T Chief Executive, Randall Stephenson, is thinking to buy the fourth-largest wireless carrier of the country from its parent Deutsche Telekom, T mobile USA.

According to the forecasts made by analysts, Deutsche Bank is set to suffer because of stagnation in their earnings for this year. The forecasts have come as the telecommunication Company will be joining a list of other service providers in Europe currently battling to defend their native regions.

The third quarter profit of Deutsche Telekom is at par with the expectations and confirmed its forecast for the fiscal riding on the strong development of its business in Germany, the largest market of the firm.

It was seen lately that T-Mobile USA, Deutsche Telekom’s US mobile subsidiary suffered in the first quarter by losing 77,000 customers. In between it was seen wrestling with Verizon Wireless and AT&T which were its larger competitors.

Reports and sources have speculated that Deutsche Telekom is looking at various options to try and revive its underperforming T-Mobile USA division. Options include an initial public offering or spin-off.
