Recently, a complaint was launched by DuPont Co. against USA Performance Technology Inc., Performance Group (USA) Inc. and two of its employees with a serious allegation of misappropriating confidential details of its titanium pigment manufacturing process.

The third largest chemical manufacturer of the US called DuPont Co. stated that it is ready to acquire Danisco A/S of Denmark for a sum of $5.8 billion for adding production of enzymes used in food and biofuels.

For the past year's fourth-quarter, DuPont Co. managed to swing back to profits, mainly on the back of a strong growth in sales and volumes, which surged by double digits, while margins also grew.
