Shipping company FedEx said on Friday that a shipment of radioactive rods which went missing Thanksgiving Day has been found at one of the company's shipping stations in Knoxville, Tennessee. The shipment, which was lost in transit, was sent from a hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.

A Capitol Hill couple got more than expected from after what they thought was a routine Fed Ex delivery. The box they received is reported to contain $120,000 worth of pot, MyFoxDC.com posted.

Inside the box was another box wrapped with insulation.

Stocks of the parcel delivery giant FedEx Corporation surged 6 per cent, led by encouraging signs of market recovery. The Tenn.-based shipping company, as per economic bellwether, the Memphis, is expected to soon come out of financial trouble, as indicated by improvement in demand, especially in higher price international service.

The opening of the cargo-sorting operations of FedEx at its mid-Atlantic hub - at Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTIA) – has been delayed due to projections of lower demand for the company’s services in 2009. 

The earlier predicted June 2009 opening has been pushed back to December, or possibly even later than that!
