Firefox 4.0 might not meet the schedule timings but the Mozilla labs remains stuck to its promise, with introduction of yet another project, Rainbow, which will look towards improvisation of the recording, of audio and video, capabilities of the browser.

Mozilla has come up with all new revamped version of its Firefox web browser, which boasts of all new fixes for a number of vulnerabilities.

Firefox 3.6.7 is claimed to mend 14 security threats pertaining to the web browser, out of these eight are deemed to as critical and two of them come as highly severe and four being moderately damaging.

Jay Sullivan at Mozilla, the group behind Firefox, and Head of the mobile browser project, has recently confirmed that the first ever mobile version of the most popular web browser is "days away from launch".

According to a security advisory posted by Mozilla on Tuesday, the recently-released third update of Firefox 3 - Firefox 3.0.9 - patches as many as 12 security vulnerabilities, four of which can be termed 'critical'.
