Employees at Heinz Reject Pay Increase

Apparently, workers had been offered a pay hike of 3.5% over the period of the next year, though, the workers union of the factory, Unite blatantly refused the offer.

This promotes the chances of another certain and inevitable strike by the workers for ongoing dispute over pay.
Net Income for Heinz Increases by 9%

Heinz announced on Saturday that it was able to muster up an increase of 9% to reach $251.4 million for its net income in the second quarter.

Heinz Reports 12.6 percent Rise in Third-quarter Sales

In addition, the company posted its quarterly profit slightly above the amount it forecast just a week ago in a meeting with analysts.
Heinz baby cereal recall

Heinz is recalling several lots of mixed baby cereal because it contains high levels of a toxin produced by fungus called Ochratoxin A.
