Twitter acquires Mixer Labs to enhance geolocation services

In a Wednesday announcement on the company's blog, Twitter said that it has taken over Mixer Labs - the company behind the creation of the GeoAPI location service that enables developers to build geolocation-aware application atop Twitter.
