A New Paywall by the New York Times

The price would also be less than $19.99, the price that the readers pay for the monthly subscription to NYT on Amazon’s Kindle.

After observing a number of similarities between an article of February 5 of The Wall Street Journal's Web site and articles that later appeared in the online and printed editions of the Times, Zachery Kouwe, New York Times business reporter, resigned.

New York Times fourth-quarter net income declines

On Monday, GateHouse Media Inc. filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the company for linking to GateHouse articles on the Globe’s recent local websites. These new community websites are in no way authorized to use online material from GateHouse.
