After FujiFilm launched its 3D cameras last year now it's the turn of Panasonic that has come up with its 3D camcorder. These normal looking camcorders can capture both 2D and 3D images. But with the addition of a conversion lens adapter even the 3D image can be captured.

These videos can also be viewed on a SD television that can be connected through an HDMI cable.

Panasonic Australia facilitated broadcasters with a five-minute clip of scenic views for 3D test transmissions, which was screened from 12AM - the first time 3D content has been reportedly transmitted across Australia in the early hours of this morning.

Test transmissions are revealed to run for a nine weeks time span and feature a number of upcoming sporting events.
