It has been reported that Rolls-Royce is looking forwards to sell off its shares in the International Aero Engines to Pratt & Whitney, Aerospace giant. International Aero Engines has a well reputation for creating International Aero Engines. Following the announcement of Rolls-Royce plans, the shares of the group surge dramatically.

With an excellent background in aerospace and manufacturing, John Rishton, the Head of Dutch retailer Ahold is due to replace Chief Executive of Rolls-Royce, John Rose.

Rolls Chairman Simon Robertson, said that John Rishton had a very well proven track record and that he was sure that the man who had been a Chief Executive of a global Company would do an outstanding job.

Goodrich Corporation and Rolls-Royce Group plc have jointly stated in a communiqué that both firms have completed the formation of a joint venture company, to develop and supply engine controls for Rolls-Royce aero engines.

The joint venture company, christened ‘Rolls-Royce Goodrich Engine Control Systems Limited’ will operate as Aero Engine Controls.
