Indonesian Court Rejects Temasek

A final appeal by Singapore's Temasek Holding to topple a ruling by the country's anti-monopoly commission regarding its telecoms investments has been rejected by Indonesia's Supreme Court.

Temasek, through its units, held stakes in PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) and PT Indosat, the top two mobile operators in Southeast Asia's largest economy.

Temasek Cites Firms to tap on S'pore's Equity Capital Market to Raise Funds

The Singapore state investment company Temasek Holdings revealed that companies should tap on Singapore's equity market in a bid to raise funds for new projects.

The investment firm is revealed to be in talks with India's GMR Infrastructure Ltd., planning to acquire stake in its energy unit, posted Wong Kim Yin, Temasek's Managing Director for investment.

Temasek to Bid for Taikang's Stake in AXA

AXA will be selling the 16% stake it holds in Taikang, a leading Chinese insurer, and Singapore based investment firm Temasek is all set to send in a bid to acquire the same. Although there are a few bidders for the stake, AXA has said it will consider each bid very carefully before making a decision.
