Walgreen Acquires New York’s Duane Reade

Walgreen will acquire Duane Reade from affiliates of Oak Hill Capital Partners for $1.08 billion, including debt and the deal is expected to be closed by August 31. Walgreen expects to increase its presence in the New York area in which it already operates 70 stores.

According to an average Thomson Reuters' forecast, analysts had expected the figures to rise at least 2.2 percent.
Unemployed Offered Free Clinic Trips By Walgreen

Spouses, domestic partners and children also qualify for the offer, as long as they do not have their own health insurance.
Walgreen arm acquires CareMax

However, the financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed by the company.
