Westjet Airlines to Provide Device for Passengers with Severe Allergies
Submitted by Ria Patel on Mon, 12/06/2010 - 15:06In order to provide passengers comfort having allergy, WestJet Airlines in collaboration with King Pharmaceuticals will launch EpiPen Auto-Injectors onto WestJet's 91 aircrafts around the Christmas time.
As speculated, the pen will be placed in all WestJet aircrafts within the first few months of 2011 so as to treat severe allergic reactions.
WestJet Airlines Ltd.'s Faces Disappointing Results

On one hand, Dallas-based Southwest is not happy because it thinks that WestJet is stabbing to revamp the terms that were there in the original agreement.

Net income of $40.8-million (32 cents a share) was reported during the fourth quarter in comparison to $75.4-million (57 cents), for the same period in 2007.
