Yum Brands Inc saw profit growth with Chinese sales accelerating

Yum Brands Inc (YUM. N) released their quarterly profit that surpassed Wall Street's estimate, enhanced by sales growth in China, its biggest market, in spite of labor and food costs rising there.

Chain-restaurant operator Yum Brands Inc has reported an 18 per cent increase in its net profit for the third quarter of current financial year, in lines with China's robust performance for the period.
