England star mid-fielder David Beckham ripped Los Angeles Galaxy teammate Landon Donovan as ‘unprofessional to speak out about a team mate especially in the press and not to your face’, ahead of his return to the Major League Soccer squad on Monday, saying Donovan should have spoken only after confronting him first.
Rome - Los Angeles Galaxy chief executive Tim Leiweke has denied a deal was imminent to allow David Beckham to join AC Milan.
"We are not close. Two weeks ago, Milan made a ridiculous offer, to which I replied 'no' in a few seconds," Leiweke told the Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport published Friday.
