Hong Kong  - Football star David Beckham and actors Sean Connery and Keanu Reeves were Saturday being illicitly used to promote a sex drug in an advert being shown on TV stations around China.

LA Galaxy say Beckham deal "not close"

Rome - Los Angeles Galaxy chief executive Tim Leiweke has denied a deal was imminent to allow David Beckham to join AC Milan.

"We are not close. Two weeks ago, Milan made a ridiculous offer, to which I replied 'no' in a few seconds," Leiweke told the Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport published Friday.

AC Milan close to signing Beckham

Rome - AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has said that his club is close to convincing Los Angeles Galaxy to switch the loan deal of English veteran David Beckham to full ownership, Italian media reported Thursday.

"Some important and concrete steps forward have been made with Galaxy to complete the buying of Beckham," Galliani was quoted as saying.

In-form Beckham to play UEFA Cup with AC Milan

Rome  - AC Milan fans Monday relished the club's decision to include English veteran David Beckham in the list for the UEFA Cup knock-out phase set to resume later in February.

Beckham, 33, joined Milan in late December on a loan contract from Los Angeles Galaxy as the US Major League Soccer takes its break. He is due back at the California club on March 9.

David Beckham sued by paparazzo

Los Angeles - British footballer David Beckham, 33, was sued by a Hollywood paparazzo, the E! Online internet celebrity magazine reported.

Photographer Emicles Da Mata filed charges of causing bodily harm against Beckham and his bodyguards, demanding a yet unknown amount of damages as an incident in December caused bodily harm and emotional distress.

Bayern's Hoeness unimpressed by AC Milan's Beckham show

Dubai - David Beckham's debut for AC Milan in a friendly match in Dubai has left Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness far from impressed.

Hoeness on Wednesday likened the match on Tuesday against SV Hamburg, in which Beckham played the first 45 minutes, to a Hollywood production.

English football star David Beckham has landed in Milan where he is set to be presented to fans and media as he begins a three-month stint with AC Milan, Italian media reported Saturday.

Beckham, 33, is to remain at the Serie A side until March, on loan from US club Los Angeles Galaxy.
