According to Dean Finch, the person who took in charge of the running of the rail and bus operator in February expressed that he is yet to ask formally the new Government that the company might be permitted to hold for the bid for the new train franchises.

Overtaking the ongoing rail and bus operations in February, Dean Finch shared that he is still waiting for permission by the new Government, for the Company to be allowed to bid for fresh train franchises. Earlier, National Express had been warned to be barred by the Labor administration for taking any new rail bids.

British bus and rail operator National Express announced Wednesday that it has appointed the boss of Tube Lines Dean Finch as its chief executive.

A veteran transport professional Mr. Finch will shoulder the new responsibility in the spring next year.
