The California case of a mother who claims her 7-year old daughter died due to a fatal reaction to Botox treatments for cerebral palsy is cited to be the first case alleging a dangerous reaction to the drug to reach trial.

Kristen Spears was born with severe cerebral palsy, started getting Botox injections at the age of 6, to calm spasms in her legs.
