As per recent reports, it has been revealed that Microsoft has unveiled its plan in regard to Windows 8 development. Microsoft's Windows Chief Steven Sinofsky has said to have put up a note more than 8,000 words in which he has explained about Windows 8.

Senior vice president Steven Sinofsky, the man who led the engineering teams on both Windows 7 and Office 2007 has been promoted by Microsoft to become the president of the new Windows division.

Up to now, Steven Sinofsky was running the Windows business jointly with Bill Veghte.

Almost a year after Steven Sinofsky assumed the responsibility of leading the Windows and Windows Live Engineering Group, the 20-year veteran of the company has been promoted as the President of the Windows division. An announcement to the effect was made by Microsoft on July 8.
