American Airlines Being Closely Watched by FAA after 3 Mishaps

During two landings, Jetliners' wingtips dangerously touched the grounds. One of these landings happened in Charlotte, North Carolina on December 13, and the other took place in Austin Texas, on December 24.
Tyson Foods Warned About Unsanitary Conditions at Texas Plant by FDA
Submitted by Jason Ramsey on Wed, 12/02/2009 - 21:52The US Food and Drug Administration have slapped Tyson Foods with a warning about unhygienic conditions at its Texas plant which makes seafood soups. In the warning letter, which was posted online on Tuesday, the FDA stated that its health inspectors, during an inspection of the plant, found "fish meat stored at dangerously high temperatures".
American Airlines to charge $50 on second bag
Submitted by Aaron Ross on Sun, 08/23/2009 - 09:57Fort Worth-based American Airlines Inc. has decided to charge $50 fee for a second checked bag on some international routes.
The additional fee would be charged from passengers flying from United States to India and some of the European countries such as France, England, Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland and the like.
