New device scores over common anti-clotting drugs in reducing risk of stroke

The recent study has shown that a device placed in the heart is more effective in reducing risk of stroke due to a common heart-rhythm disorder as compared to anti-clotting drug.

Skater Falls Through Thin Ice of Medicine Lake

A skater fell through thin ice in the middle of Medicine Lake in Plymouth Sunday around 2 p.m. and was rushed to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. The police told that when the man was pulled out of the lake he was unconscious and had no pulse. They said he did not respond to resuscitation attempts but they have not confirmed his current condition.
