Soon after coming back from Cuba, the President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, has attracted controversies over his health. It has been reported that a surgeon called Dr. Salvador Navarrete has alleged that Hugo Chavez has just two more years to live. However, the President has denied the allegations saying that he was never treated by Dr. Salvador Navarrete.

After visiting Cuba several times for the treatment of his cancer, Hugo Chavez, the President of Venezuela, is traveling to Cuba once again on Sunday for a comprehensive medical check-up.

Hugo Chavez, the President of Venezuela, is hopeful that a fourth chemotherapy round – for which he headed back to Cuba on Saturday night – will “most likely” be the last and final phase of treatment of his cancer.

During a televised Cabinet meeting on Saturday, Venezuela President Hugo Chavez revealed that he will be undergoing his next round of chemotherapy – the third one - in Venezuela itself, in place of Cuba where he has undergone cancer treatments earlier.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez will be visiting Cuba again for his cancer treatment. He had his tumour removed in Cuba in June and underwent chemotherapy.

The President notified that his treatment was proceeding well but he did not disclose the exact position. His poor health has raised doubts about him standing in next elections.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, 56, has been treated with cancer and now is back in Venezuela. Chavez went to Cuba to get his first session of chemotherapy done. Socialist leader told that he underwent surgery last month in Havana to get remove his baseball-sized cancerous tumor. He did not reveal the type of cancer he had.

With the few confirmed cases of cholera among the four-hundred people, who returned from Dominican Republic, a wave of panic was observed in Venezuela.

The people, who are the nationals of Venezuela only, went to Dominican Republic to attend an event, where they contracted the disease through contaminated food.

Venezuela President Hugo Chavez declared in his "Alo Presidente" show, that the State's crude production and manufacture will hike by about 1 million barrels a day from 2010 to 2015. He added that the crude supplies will scale about 300,000 barrels a day, representing an increasing oil output, after the end of this year.

As his latest bid to stop the crashing bolivar currency, Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez is all set to raid money changers and close websites listing exchange rates. It is feared that after the State's government moved to end speculation and stemmed the fall of the bolivar with new rules, the Venezuela's foreign exchange market will become even more paralyzed than before.
