It has been recently announced that the launch of the Windows Mobile 7 will be a little delayed and that the intermediate version of the Windows Mobile 6.6 will probably be launched for the first time at the nearing Mobile World Congress.

There have also been numerous rumors about the Windows Mobile 7 which is actually expected to be launched in the year 2011. The most recent rumor is that this Windows Mobile 7 is to come in two different flavors. The two different versions are to be reportedly called the Windows Phone Seven Media Edition or the ME and the Windows Phone Seven Business Edition or the BE.

As the name suggests, the BE or the Business Edition is basically pointed at the users in the business sense and it is said to be easy to customized and can also be accessed by multiple users. The Media Edition is said to have high definition videos with TV streaming and also support for many social networking sites and the system which is called Orion will also be seen in an attempt to enhance the GPS performance. The other rumors are that the two first handsets to be powered by the new platforms are to be the HTC Obsession and the LG Apollo.
