Sheriff's officials have arrested a 52-year-old Green Bay man in its alleged connection to a pot-growing operation in Shawano and Brown Counties.
The officials claim that the man was accused of his compliance in a drug operation in Shawano County where police recovered over 167 marijuana plants on Friday.
The Brown County Sheriff's Department Drug Task Force revealed that the pursuit of 316 N. Ashland Ave. on Friday has resulted in the seizure of 599 marijuana plants.
In addition, it has resulted in seizure of above 10 ounces of harvested high-grade marijuana, along with the arrest of a 52-year-old Green Bay man.
The officials initially found 167 marijuana plants apart from several items used to grow marijuana at a Gresham house
In addition, officials found a video surveillance system and a loaded handgun at the Green Bay home, which is just east of an elementary school.
Investigators cite that each mature plant costs between $1,000 and $2,000.
The accused faces charges of intentionally producing and delivering THC within 1,000 feet of a school, possession with intent to deliver, maintaining drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia.
