Google's Nexus One goes Multitouch
Google-Apple-Logo

A famous Android hacker, byname Cynogen, on Wednesday, has released the software enhancing Google's Nexus One smartphone, giving it the same multi-touch features as Apple's iPhone has. As Google made the Nexus One operating system, Android, an open source, this helped for the iPhone like modifications.

Apple's iPhone enhances its users' experience with facility of multitouch on screen simultaneously, such as to enlarge images and carry out similar actions. Google had chopped this feature from the Nexus One on Apple's request.

This feature comes exactly, three weeks after Cyanogen brought SSH, USB support features to the smartphone.

These mods are to be flashed on the top of the existing firmware.

After releasing earlier mods, he also promised to release full custom ROM but meanwhile, Google dropped 2.1 and launched Android Open Source Project. This facilitated the hacking of iPhone. For hacking, Cyanogen has used the Nexus Operating system, Android
2.1, open source. And he is well known among the XDA Developers Forum.
