Jackson's Doctor to Appear Before Court for the First Time

On Friday, over seven months after the mysterious death of Michael Jackson from an overdose of anesthesia, and after days of much heightened speculation, the popular singer's doctor is all set to appear before court for the first time on a charge linked to the death.

At a courthouse near the Los Angeles International Airport, Dr. Conrad Murray will be arraigned, as has been suggested by a source without disclosing the actual charge.

It seems that Dr. Murray might just be charged with "involuntary manslaughter".

Sandi Gibbons, the spokesperson for the Los Angeles County district attorney, said that she could "neither confirm nor deny" the speculation that Dr. Murray would be appearing at the LAX courthouse on Friday afternoon.

"We are prepared for whatever occurs. We have time to meet and strategize for possible scenarios, but in reality we've had eight months to do that", said Lead attorney Ed Chernoff, representing Dr. Murray.
