On his blog, global14.com, Jermaine Dupri - the longtime boyfriend of Janet Jackson – has attempted to clear some misconceptions, particularly with regard to Jackson’s rumored pregnancy and the couple having split.
 
Clarifying the matters, the 36-year-old Dupri wrote, in capital letters, in a December 18 post: “So here you have it... No, she is not pregnant, and Yes, we’re still together.”

Taking the unusual move of publicly denying these two rumors, Dupri added: “It baffles me how y’all let these blog and magazines control your lifes. That’s why I created global14.com, so when ever hear s--- about me you can come right here and get the truth.”

Though the rumors about the couple’s reported splits have kept bubbling up repeatedly over the years, Jackson’s pregnancy rumors started making rounds after the 42-year-old singer canceled a string of shows, including a postponement of a number of dates on her Rock Witchu Tour. Some of the dates were later made up, and Jackson’s doctors said they recommended her to take time off to deal with a bout of migraine-associated vertigo.

Adding to the rumor was the Life & Style magazine’s recently published cover story - whose headline read “Janet Jackson Tells Friends: Yes, I’m “Pregnant!”
