Franklin Electric buys CAL Pump

Franklin Electric, a global leader in the production and marketing of water pumping systems, has bought CAL Pump, for an undisclosed amount.

Recently, Nasdaq-listed Franklin Electric acquired Little Giant Pump Company and Monarch Industries (Pump Division).

CAL Pump is the second company acquired by Franklin Electric that is devoted to the water pump, gardening and outdoor living markets.

For more than 50 years, CAL Pump has been known for manufacturing high quality, technologically advanced pumps designed for fountains, spas, ponds, parts washers, marine air conditioning units, and other applications.

Franklin Electric Co., Inc., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the design, manufacture, and distribution of groundwater and fuel pumping systems.

The shares of the company ended the day on Friday at $28.03, up 5% compared to previous close of $26.61.
