Amidst speculations of a refresh to the MacBook Pro and perhaps other Mac computer lineups sometime soon, some MacRumors forum members have found a Geekbench benchmark of an unreleased MacBook Pro.
MacRumors reveals that the report depicts a MacBook Pro with a new 6, 1 model designation running an unreleased build of Mac OS X 10.6.2 (10C3067), which is perhaps an interim build that Apple has put on this new hardware.
As per MacRumors, the model designation has been spotted in 10.6.2 before in the form of support files.
The device is equipped with an Intel Core i7 M 620 processor clocked at 2.66GHz, which is one of Intel’s Arrandale offerings along with 4GB of DDR3 RAM.
In addition, it is also rumored that Apple’s MacBook Pro supplies have been restricted, which further reflects a refresh of the lineup is likely to take place.
Early January a rumor of new Core i5 MacBook Pro laptops has already emerged inclining a January shipping date. As we have already February the rumor turned out to be false.
