ATI has unveiled the Radeon HD 5770, and all those looking at it might get a sense of deja vu, mainly because it shares a lot of common features with the company's recently released HD 5450 media card.
However, the new offering also shares specs with the HD 5670.
The HD 5770 is equipped with the "Redwood" core, and 400 stream processors. Also, the device boasts a RAM of 1,024MB, and uses GDDR3, and has a core clock speed of 650MHz.
The HD 5770 is the eighth installment in the Radeon HD 5000 family.
As far as the price and performance go, the gadget will sit somewhere between the Radeon HD 5450 and 5670. This means that it will be offering the same kind of performance as the HD 4670, with the same starting price of a mere $79.
