Ever since the search engine giant Google threatened to roll its China operations back, all thanks to the hacker attack that was recently made on Chinese Gmail accounts that resulted in theft of intellectual property, the country's problems as far as hacking goes have been thrown into considerable limelight.
To prove to the world that it is completely against hacking, China recently shut down an online hackers training website, known as the Black Hawk Safety Net.
As has been shared by the police officials in Hubei province, the operations of the website have now been officially shut down and three of its leaders have been placed under arrest. The site was reportedly the biggest of its kind, and was a pioneer in training Chinese hackers.
Black Hawk has been slapped with accusations of collecting over $1 Million in tuition fees from a total of 12,000 regular subscribers, and another 17,000 members who took its online courses.
With the latest shutdown, experts believe that the Chinese Government is now getting more serious towards the crackdown of such platforms.
