After undercover sting found out that a clinic in Alabama was conducting abortions without the consent of parents the clinic has been put on trial.
State health officials said the Birmingham, Ala, abortion clinic will state its plan to correct the violations.
It was found that minors were getting abortions done at the clinic since November 2008.
A teenager who posed to be pregnant and wanted an abortion conducted the sting operation. She was from 'Live Action,' a California-based anti-abortion group.
Alabama health officials started investigations following the group's claim last year.
It was found that nine girls aged 13 to 15 years got abortions done from the clinic since September of 2008 and these were done without full legal consent of parents.
Rick Harris of the Department of Public Health said, "It's unacceptable that they did a procedure on a girl and allowed someone who was not her mother and was obviously not her mother to sign a permission slip for her to get an abortion."
Other issues that attracted investigators' attention were sanitation, including improper disposal of a needle attached to a syringe, expired medicine and out of date equipment.
