Today, an advice hotline and website, set up especially to help people who think that they have contracted Swine Flu, is all set to be closed down, mainly due to low levels of cases being reported from across the nation.
From 1 AM today, the National Pandemic Flu Service website and phone line will be closed down.
People in the South Yorkshire area, who feel that they have contracted Swine Flu, have now been instructed to stay at home and contact their own physicians by phone instead.
The phone and online services were first launched in July, in response to rapidly rising pressure on the NHS and social care services.
Despite the sings, experts have been quick to warn that people should still remain cautious. "It is extremely important we do not allow the current low levels of influenza-like illness and the stand-down of the service to lead to a sense of complacency", said John Radford, NHS Rotherham Director of Public Health.
