After recognizing the criticism over the privacy concerns with the new service of Google Buzz, Google announced some alterations to the same. The settings were found very complex by the early users of Google Buzz. Google stated in a blog posted on Thursday, that from the very first day, it built privacy controls into Google Buzz but at the same time it admitted the most discordant criticism. The problem being that Google made it difficult to make list of followers private in regulating the set-up process for the new social-networking service.

The company said on its Gmail blog, “We heard from people that the checkbox for choosing not to display this information was too hard to find, and based on this feedback, we've changed the notice to make it very clear. We will roll these changes out to all Gmail users later today”.

In Thursday’s announcement it was confirmed that, Google has made it easier to block people from following their Buzz updates. But the problem was that Buzz users could only block people with public Google Profiles. The expectations of Google have certainly been hurt during the first week of Google buzz service. A Google representative said the company intends to add some points.
