Women in Australia enjoy being single rather than getting married to someone and getting into homely chores. A survey of 500 women stated that OZ women preferred being single on weekends rather than looking for partners for enjoying. According to the survey 51.4 per cent women wanted to be single.

The prime concern for these Aussie beauties are their social life, friends, career, investing in real estate and other commitments. They said they do not spend their time in cribbing about being single.

The single ladies term themselves as ‘freemales’ and they claim to enjoy a better career than their married peers.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics girls in OZ who are getting married are doing so at an older age, 28 being the average age.

A single women from Melbourne, Chloe Dennis, says, "We are brought up in a society with the idea that one day you'll get married, buy a house with your partner and have children, but it didn't happen that way for me. It got to the point where I realised that if I didn't do this (buy a home) by myself, it might never happen.”
