18 out of a total of over 350 members of the Pueblo Medical Society had sent in their response to a chieftain e-mail survey, asking for their opinion on healthcare revamp, what is being thought about in Congress and what they would suggest if they are given a say in the whole process.
While a few of the respondents are stubbornly opposed to any form of Government involvement in healthcare, others favor a plan which is predominantly single-player. Some others, on the other hand, suggest that the plan should be operated as a private rather than Government entity.
All of the participants, however, completely agreed that there are may layers coming together to contribute to the costs of health care, and most agree that all Americans should be given access to regular preventive care.
Participants were not required to give out their identities, although some did end up identifying themselves. Some did not send in a response to all the questions.
