Amazon. com Inc. announced the widening of Kindle Digital Text Platform or DTP. The company posted that authors and publishers around the world can now utilize the self-service DTP to make available their books in Spanish, Portuguese and Italian to customers worldwide in the Kindle Store.

Moreover, authors and publishers now have more options when offering their books to Kindle customers apart from facilitating the ability to upload and sell books in English, French and German languages.

It bears the capability to hold over 1,500 books, more than most people would read in a lifetime.

The 1/3 inches thick and 10.2 ounces device is very light and portable, the device enables you to download books in less than 60 seconds wirelessly, with no PC required.

The Kindle, also supports the 3G Wireless network, so you will be able to download books right from Kindle. The amazing 3G wireless coverage is available either at home or even abroad, with options of over 100 countries.

It comes with an inbuilt PDF reader, facilitating its access and to view files or documents, so you can also take some of the work with you.
