Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 Series Might End Up Trumping the iPhone

Lately, it seems that the entire world has been talking about Apple's iPhone alone, and experts and fans are eager to know every little update about the popular smartphone, and if there would be any new offerings to enhance the already amazing device.

But with the newly announced Windows Mobile 7 Series, from the house of the technology giant Microsoft, things might just change. The new software, capable of running on multiple carrier networks, has a lot of features like the iPhone, and some even better.

The Widows Phone 7's interface is much different from the run-of-the-mill touchscreen functionality, and employs a Zune HD-like functioning that is aimed at helping users move around the display easily and more effectively. Also, the new offering supports games and gaming software much better than the iPhone, thanks to Microsoft's experience with the XBox.

The Mobile 7 software has built-in social networking, and users do not have to go to an applications store to download things to enable access to social networking sites. Twitter, Facebook, and other will be integrated in the phone itself.

In addition, there are many other features which make the Windows Mobile 7 Series more interesting and attractive than the iPhone. Fans are now eagerly awaiting devices equipped with the platform.
