Facebook Server Issues cause Trouble for Users in many countries

Facebook users in United Kingdom, United States, Thailand, Mexico and other nations had to face difficulty logging in the site while others were shut out and some came across trouble trying to upload photographs, post anything following some technical server problem.

The users started coming across and hence reporting such problems on Saturday morning. Some used Twitter to complaint. Among the most affected were those from US.

Because of isolated server problems, small percentage of users faced problems accessing Facebook, and some specific profile features said Facebook spokesman Matt Hicks. This problem was overcome at 11pm on Saturday as Facebook stated restoration of all the access to the users. Spokespeople for the company also said that around 5:30 p. m. Eastern, problems were all clear.

Unlike frequent and bigger problems in Twitter for instance the one last August shutting down the service for several hours due to hacking, Facebook, having almost 400 million users has seldom come across such technical faults.
