A thinner, leaner Nick Swisher, after losing 12 Pounds, is making a cameo on the Emmy Award winning, hottest comedy show on TV, "How I Met Your Mother".
A simple alteration in his diet, eliminating junk food and sticking to high-protein meals eggs for breakfast, whole wheat wraps for lunch, yogurt for a snack and chicken for dinner, the weight loss became relatively easy for Swisher.
Swisher hopes, there would be an improvement on the .249 average and 29 homers he amassed after taking over the Yankees' right-field job from the injured Xavier Nady.
"I feel leaner, I feel quicker. And as weird as it seems, I feel stronger", Swisher said.
Swisher is entering Spring Training with a clearly-defined role of the starting right fielder.
The Yankees are happy to rely on Swisher to provide some pop from the bottom half of the batting order as dropping 12 Pounds won't stop him from gunning for the short porch in right field.
