Sofia - Bulgaria became on Monday the first European Union state to sign an agreement with Russia on the trade of fish and fish products.
The agreement allows Bulgarian fish processing plants to export their products to Russia, said the Bulgarian Agriculture Ministry in Sofia.
Damyan Iliev, the deputy head of the Bulgarian veterinary medicine authority and Sergey Dankvert, the head of the Russia's Office for Veterinary and Plant Control, signed the document in Brussels. (dpa)
