Heavy Rain is David Cage's latest offering for PlayStation 3.
It is one of Sony's most heavily-promoted titles this year and everybody has pinned high hopes on this game.
Cage is one of the most closely watched developers following his 2004 release, Indigo Prophecy.
According to Cage's collaborator Guillaume de Fondaumiere, the Heavy Rain script ran 2,000 pages long, and involved 170 days with actors in the motion-capture studio in Quantic Dream's basement. Featuring 12 hours of finished animation, Heavy Rain is the "largest motion-capture endeavor, ever".
Meanwhile, there's a threat of ban on the video games.
Hitesh Uchil of MEGamers said that recently Electronic Arts had decided not to release Dante's Inferno in the UAE, which had a similarity to Darksiders, on the fear of a ban by the NMC (National Media Council).
"The ban on these games has led to an increase in piracy where games like Dante's Inferno and Heavy Rain are not only sold but often released even before the games reach official distribution channels", he added.
Destructoid's Jim Sterling shared similar thoughts.
