As has been shared by Steam, the online retail division of Valve, the video games company, the best selling game of the week ending February 20 was Aliens vs. Predators, the latest offering for XBox 360, the game featuring the popular alien hunters of the modern age of Hollywood.

There are many who have debated that there are no worse monsters in the history of Hollywood than the two in Aliens vs. Predators, and the fact that they have been brought to life once again, for playing, has excited many fans, who rushed to the stores to get their hands on the title as soon as it was released.

The game is as close to the movie as possible, and begins in almost complete darkness. The only thing guiding the players is a small torch, and a squad mate in the ear to offer the players guidance to their objectives. As soon as the squad starts beeping, the player runs into the first alien and that is how it continues for quite some time.

Later, the game becomes more intense, with a few outdoor areas, which do not seem to be as interesting as the indoor ones.

Going through various hurdles and aliens, the player has to save the world. Although it feels at some places that the full potential of the topic is not being exploited, it is definitely exciting, and fans are now waiting for a sequel.
