Frankfurt  - Continental Airlines has announced details of a new connection between Germany and the United States.

From November 2, 2009, Continental will fly daily from Houston, Texas to Frankfurt in central Germany.

Flights will depart Houston at 6:50 pm and arrive at 11:40 am. Return flights will leave Frankfurt at 1:40 pm and land in Houston at 5:50 pm.

Continental recently decided to cancel its Cologne-New York route due to the high cost of aviation fuel.

The airline currently operates flights from Newark to Frankfurt, Hamburg and Berlin. (dpa)
