$1 Million Worth of Sales Generated by Plants vs. Zombies Game on iPhone

Official announcements shared by PopCap have confirmed that the company's version of Plants vs. Zombies for the iPhone and iPod Touch has managed to sell over 300,000 copies in its first nine of release, which is an all new App Store launch record.

Released on February 15, the game managed to rise to No. 1 in terms of units sold and as the top-grossing game. Yesterday, however, it lost these sports, which are now respectively held by All-In-1 Gamebox from Triniti Interactive and Brothers In Arms 2: Global Front from Gameloft.

Priced at $2.99, Plants vs. Zombies has already grossed over $1 Million.

Originally, the title was launched for PC and MAC in May of 2009.
