Bloom Box is A Blessing for Domestic, Business Users

A green-technology website was enlightened about the kernel of the working of a technology, which is yet to be published in media by Bloom Energy CEO K. R. Sridhar.

Bloom Energy is a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company, which announced the Bloom Box fuel cell, which will be loaded in small heaps and kept in a unit which is equal to the size of a refrigerator and is a substitute to electricity. They have strong customers like eBay, Wal-Mart Stores, Coca-Cola, Google, Staples and Walmart and FedEx on their side. Though, the $700,000 to $800,000 price tag could make it difficult to sell.

Sridhar said, ”It mixes with water, which is a byproduct of our exhaust. Water and methane goes into the system and within the system the methane and the water react”.

Bloom Energy assured that its server offers regular power and is 67% cleaner as compared to the average power plant utilizing coal. A power generating device like this is surely a blessing for both the domestic as well as business users to meet the electricity demands. Bloom Energy server is of great use in the third world countries.

Darryl Parker, CEO of Parker Web Services, a North Carolina solution provider said, ”The price will go down with home deployments”, he said. "But right now there's an enormous opportunity in third world countries, if this is portable and easily shipped. It takes years to build power plants”.
