Dell has added another model to its range of ultra-thin laptops. After the $2000 Adamo and the $1799 MacBook Air, the Adamo XPS is another amazingly thin and light laptop that will definitely be turning some heads. But some experts are not happy with the laptop, as they feel that in order to fit in style and panache, Dell seems to have compromised on performance and features.
Another offering derived from the XPS is now the Vostro V13.
The Adamo XPS is completely wrapped in aluminum metals, and the system measures a mere 0.4 inches. The dimensions of the laptop are 13.3-by-10.7-by-0.4 inches, and it has a 15-inch laptop profile. The screen is about
13.3-inches.
The screen boasts a 1366x768 display resolution, and the viewing experience seems to be very similar to that of the 1280x800 MacBook Air.
The machine is equipped with 2 USB ports, a DisplayPort and a head phone jack.
The Adamo XPS packs in a 128GB SSD drive and boasts Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, in addition to many other attractive features.
Despite the V13 being mostly like the XPS, its price will be much less.
