Job Fear Reduce In Canada, Continues in Ontario

Recent surveys conducted by the Royal Bank of Canada show that Canadian Consumer Outlook Index increased to 109 from 106 in January indicating that Canadians are becoming more confident about the state of the economy excluding Ontario and Atlantic Canada, where job unease have amplified since January. This outlook revealed on Monday sate that 30% of Ontarians are still worried about their job loss. This is the highest level since four-months with job anxiety 25% nationally.

On one hand where there is just 13% job anxiety in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, in East Coast it increased by 6% points to 24%. Merely 53% of Canadians were found confident enough to call the economy "good" while only 48% agreed to this in January.

Percentage of Canadians believing their financial conditions to get better in next three months also decreased last month by 2% going from 32% to 30%. Also 62% citizens hoped the national economy might recover over the next year. It was 56% in January.
