Google's Chrome browser has added a new feature, automatic translation, a beta version of Chrome 4 which recognizes pages not in the user's -preferred language but offers to translate them. The new beta works with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
Business users who need to keep up with international partners or competitors can also enjoy the benefits.
Privacy settings to be implemented on a site-by-site basis have also been added. The new privacy features, meanwhile, enhance users' control over their browsing experience by increasing the granularity of Chrome privacy options.
The Chrome translation feature does not require any additional software.
Google Translate presently supports 52 languages, from Afrikaans to Yiddish.
Automatic translation included with the browser, meshes nicely with Google's overall mission of making the world's information more accessible to more of its inhabitants.
With the Google’s "Privacy" section of Chrome's options dialog, the users can control how cookies, images, JavaScript, plug-ins, and pop-ups.
With the new features available via the Chrome beta, those already running the beta channel will be updated automatically.
