Nokia C5 Reaches Market

Nokia is planning to introduce a new series starting with C5 S60 based smartphone; to hit the market on March 2, 2010.

The C5 is 12.3mm x 46mm x 112mm (0.48in x 1.81in x 4.4in) in length. It boasts of a 2.2-inch 320 x 240 pixel display competent of flaunting 16 million colors. The C5 is backed by a strong1050Mah battery, which is capable of giving enough power to the phone. It sports a 3.2 megapixel camera and provides full support for Ovi Mail, Nokia Messaging and Ovi Maps. Equipped with microSD card support, the memory can be expanded up to 8GB.

Music lovers have a reason to celebrate since the Nokia C5 comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Furthermore, the phone supports social networking sites, emails and instant messaging like Google Talk and Windows Live Messenger.

The C5 carries a price tag of $182 (Rs. 8,400) in the European market place and will shortly be available in India also.
